Today's Prayer

Morning Prayer

Dear Lord,
Thank You for a new day with a hope of new beginning in my relationship with You.
Every morning I pray asking You to pull my thoughts and mind out from thinking of this world and its attractions.
These thoughts distract me from my main goal, and that is, to be united with You Lord.
I know Lord,  that being in You and You in me means living in eternal rest.
I need the help of You Holy Spirit, to feel this rest.  
I am so exhausted of thinking and planning for my future and gaining nothing from these thoughts, but in the contrary I fell frustrated, dissatisfied and more confused.
I am bored from having false hope that my situation will work out perfectly or carefully anticipating things going better.
Lord, I remind myself every morning of all my past life that You took care of me and You did not forsake me.
I trust in You Lord.
You are a good God who is full of mercy.
You are the only One who knows my weaknesses and You never did shame me with my weaknesses or did judge me for it, but You saved me  by Your love and Your salvation plan that You did for me on the cross.
You did give me Your power over all the evil spirits, in the Holy Spirit.
Thank You Lord, for the seal of Your Holy Spirit.
The comfort of Your presence with me right now and forever, ready to care for me in life’s devastation and disappointment.
Thank You for a steadfast reminder of Your love and plans for me.
Lord, will You help me view my life circumstances through an eternal lens and my new beginnings with Your perspective? Lord, may You hear my supplications this morning and every morning.
I love You, Lord,  and I give You all the glory and praise.
Amen.
