Today's Prayer

Prayer of Thanking Jesus

Dear Jesus,
I thank You for Your love and mercy on me.
Forgive me for times in my life when I have neglected gratitude and fell into temptation to be apathetic, negative, or ungrateful.
Thank You for this current time of overwhelming thankfulness.
I praise You for the beauty around me and for the shelter You provide.
I thank You for the food and water that I receive each day to nourish my body.
I praise You for the technology to help me stay in touch with loved ones who are far.
I thank You for protecting me from famine, illness, and all the evil works and deeds.  
I thank You for the smallest blessing that You have gifted me with in my home and in the mundane.
I thank You for getting me through the valley and carrying me when I have fallen.
I celebrate that I am Your child and being partaker in Your life in Your Son, Jesus Christ.
Thank You for transforming me from old to new.
I love You and praise You Jesus.
Amen.
