Today's Prayer

Prayer To Have Courage And Faith

Dear Jesus,
Please enlighten my mind with Your truth and inflame my heart with Your love.
I need You to inspire my will with courage and enrich my life with service.
Please Lord, sanctify me with Your precious blood and make me a new person.
Change me to be in Your image and likeness.
Lord, I come to you today as I do not feel great at anything besides trying and failing, in my work, in my marriage, at everything.
Please Lord, help me see beyond my failures and remember that because of Your goodness and mercy, I have a reason to try again, to believe in hope, and to keep moving forward.
Thank You for loving me, accepting me, and hearing my prayers.
Lord, your word in the Gospel says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him."(James 1:5.)
I come to You, Lord, asking for Your help and I trust that You will answer my prayer.
I want to have confidence in You not in my abilities or talents.
I want to rely on Your wisdom, power, and guidance.
Help me bring You glory through my actions and my words.
Help me to speak the truth from Your Word back to myself.
Take it from my head to my heart.
Give me peace, wisdom and courage to live like a conqueror, because You’ve already given me victory over every challenge and obstacle.
In Your Holy name, I pray.
Amen.
