Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking For Courage for the Days Ahead

Dear Father God,
So much in my life is broken.
I have so many concerns and cares, and they weigh me down.
While I desire to cast my cares upon You, I find I usually pick them back up again, and they only add more anxiety and stress.
Please help me learn to cast my cares on You as I learn what it means to rest and trust in You.
God, I want to believe that You are with me and that I am known and loved by You.
I want to confess that some days, it’s hard to believe specially when things go wrong.
I know You love me and You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to defeat all the evil spirits for me and restore me back to Your bosom.
I am struggling to go back to Your bosom and abide in Jesus because of all the problems I am facing.
The devil, the liar,  convinces me that you are not strong enough to change my situation and let me sink deeply into the feeling of sadness and worry.
Forgive me Lord, for hearing and believing the voice of the devil.
Please give me power to rebuke his voice and abide to Your word and promises.
I proclaim that I trust in You Lord, and I rebuke the devil’s spirit in Jesus’ name.
Please Lord, answer my prayers and give me more courage to continue rebuking and resisting all the evil spirits that attack me day and night.
Your answer to my prayer will give me courage over this fearful thoughts and encourage me to continue my race successfully.
In Jesus’ name I pray.
Amen.
