Today's Prayer

Prayer for the Work Day Ahead

Father God,
I thank You for all the ways You have blessed me, specifically with this job that pays my bills and puts food on my table. 
Thank You that You gave me the kind of job that I like and have experience in.
Please Lord, help me view my work as a blessing from You and not a curse. 
Give me grace and strength for the hardest aspects of my job. 
Help me to show Your love and kindness in all what I do. 
It is You in me that is working  professionally. 
Remind me Lord, that all what I do is from You. 
Please help me to rebuke any spirit of pride that tries to penetrate me when I get any praise from my boss. 
I want to overcome the spirit of pride in Jesus’ name. 
I rebuke the spirit of jealousy and of division in Jesus’ almighty name. 
I promise You Jesus to put on my armor and breastplate to defend myself from any attack from the enemy. 
Please Lord hear my supplications and answer my prayers. 
In Your precious name, I pray. 
Amen.
