Today's Prayer

A Prayer To Be A Victorious Warrior

Jesus my Lord and Savior,
I come to You asking Your help to make me a warrior who have victory over the devil and his schemes by obeying Your word and putting on the whole armor of God. 
I do not know how to do it. 
Lord, I need Your Holy Spirit to guide me and give me the way to be covered with Your righteousness and Your strength to fight the good fight. 
I want to put on the girdle of truth and stand firm in the truth of Your Word so I will not be a victim of the devil’s lies. 
I want to wear the breastplate of Your righteousness to guard my heart from evil and be sanctified with Your holy blood and be protected from sin and death. 
I ask You today Jesus to give me the gift of discernment to discern the devil’s fiery darts of doubt, denial, and deceit so I will not be vulnerable to spiritual defeat.

Help me Lord, to keep my mind focused on You so Satan will not have a stronghold on my thoughts. 
May the two-edged sword of Your Word be ready in my hands so I can expose the tempting words of Satan and never be a prey in his hands. 
In Your Almighty name, I pray. 
Amen.
