Today's Prayer

Prayer To Start Your Day

Dear Lord,
Each new day is a gift from You which I want to thank You for. 
I bow my head and lift my heart to thank You for offering me another day which is another opportunity to celebrate Your blessings to me. 
Every morning when I wake up I see how much You love me. 
You gave me Your life and light that overcome all the darkness of this world. 
In this new day I renew my covenant with You. 
I promise You to please Your heart in every thought and action I do. 
I will place my hope in You alone. 
In every aspect of my life I will trust You Lord. 
Please, Jesus, remind me all day that I am a child of God, that I may act as befits Your name, and never be the reason for people to curse Your name but rather bless Your name. 
I ask the Holy Spirit today to come to sanctify me and make me a real child of God blameless and spotless. 
Lord, I want to be in Your image and likeness. 
I want to love people as You have loved them. 
Give me the power today to resist the devil and all his worldly and lustful desires. 
In your precious name I pray, Amen.
