Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking for The Presence of The Holy Spirit

Jesus my Savior,
We live in a world that bombards me with fear and worry and I  wake up every morning anxious for the day ahead.  
Please, Lord, save me from the spirit of depression. 
I call upon the Holy Spirit to guide me throughout the day.  
Fill me with the Holy Spirit who can help me stay grounded and centered.
Remind me Lord, every morning that I have a loving Savior who overcame all these sinful and deadly spirits on the cross for my sake. 
Remind me, Lord, of Your unwavering faithfulness. 
Please bestow on me Your peace and rest every morning that I would feel it throughout the day.  
Please give me comfort and strength into every moment. 
I am taking hold of Your promises and making them mine. 
Today, I will set my foot down on every promise that You have given me.  
I will not allow any evil thought to take me out of my spiritual inheritance. 
In Jesus’ name I pray. 
Amen.
