Today's Prayer.

Prayer Asking For God’s Grace

Dear Lord,
Thank You for Your abundant, abounding grace. 
Thank You for the unexpected, unmerited favor You have showered on my life.
Help me put myself in the path of Your love and grace. 
I lift my eyes up to You, enthroned in heaven. 
I keep looking to You for Your mercy, Lord, everyday. 
I anticipate Your answer to my prayers, remembering that You are with me always and that You care about the smallest detail in my life. 
Thank You so much for Your abundant love. 
You love me even when I am weak and get under the influence of sin. 
You are so kind and compassionate to me. 
Help me to see, hear, and know how You are answering my prayers. 
I want to feel Your presence in my life palpably. 
Please, have mercy on me, Lord. 
Carve any contempt out of my heart and guard me from the weight of the world and its surrounding influence. 
I have had my fill of it, and it so subtly bleeds the fabric of my life, Lord. 
Protect me from people who have ill intentions for me. 
Protect me from the corrupt edges of my daily life, Lord, and things I can’t even see that I am not aware of. 
Build my faith up, Lord, day by day. 
Replace chaos with peace. 
Sanctify me with Your precious blood. 
Make me a new creation. 
Let me be in Your image and likeness. 
I want to please Your heart Lord, help me in the Holy Spirit to obey Your word and be filled with Your love and kindness to all people around me. 
Please hear my pleads and prayers. 
In Your almighty name I pray. 
Amen.
