Today's Prayer.

Prayer Asking Jesus To Fill Us With An Active Faith

Dear Jesus,
I come to You praying and asking Your power to let me want from my deep heart to live and walk right with You. 
Cleanse my heart, please, Lord, from any mistrust or doubt and fill me with an active faith. 
I want to be dependent on You not on my own strength, being guided by You, satisfied with You, and strengthened by You in whatever place I find myself in. 
Help me to choose to turn to You like a child and place my whole trust in You. 
When the storms of life howl and the outcome brings pain, let me turn my eyes in Your direction and take another step toward You. 
When the ways of this life threaten my faith, satisfy my longings. 
When I feel weak from the trials, let me rely on You for strength. 
I know that I need to focus more on You and not to be entangled with the world around me. 
I need Your power in the Holy Spirit to be able to focus on You all the time, even in the time of trouble. 
Please, Lord, have mercy on me and hear my prayer. 
You said ask and you will be given. 
I am asking You Lord, now, to come and fill me with Your overcoming power over all the worldly lust and desires that separate me from You. 
I want to be a new creation filled with love to You and to all people around me. In Your almighty name, I pray. 
Amen.
