Today's Prayer.
A Prayer Thanking God For The Gift Of Joy
Dear Jesus,
I thank You this morning for offering me Your joy.
It is not the joy of the world that can come and go, but it is Your uncreated joy that comes from my unity with You and never goes away.
It renews my strength and faith everyday.
It gives me hope and victory over this dark world.
I confess that when the devil attacks me I lose it maybe days or hours but as soon as I regain my strength in You and remind myself that You are with me, I get access to You again and I regain it back.
I thank You that I can find joy in Your word and in every blessing that You gift me with everyday.
Your mercy covers me, You are so merciful and you feel my agony when I lose Your joy. Help me, Lord, to trade my sorrows for Your joy.
You promised to turn my ashes into beauty.
I trust Your word, Lord. Please, help me in the Holy Spirit to prompt me to slow down and remember Your kindness and Your interference every time I get into trouble.
You are a good God, whenever I cry to You, You come and release me from my sadness.
Help me to lift my eyes toward You and focus on You alone.
Help me, Lord, to remind myself that in all things, You work goodness to those who love You.
Please, Lord, guide me in Your Holy Spirit and teach me Your path.
Guide me toward Your truth that always inspires joy in my heavy loaded and weary heart.
Help me see Your faithfulness and be thankful everyday to enjoy Your happiness in even the tiniest thing.
I love You Lord.
I praise Your name with thanksgiving.
Amen.
