Today's Prayer.

A Prayer For Protection At Night Time

Dear Jesus,
As I lay down to rest at the end of the day, please hold me in Your bosom where I feel Your loving protection. 
Shield me from the worries of the day and the anxieties that are trying to invade my restful bed time. 
I rebuke every spirit that has attacked me all my day in Jesus’ name,  and I rest in You, Lord. 
Please, guard my mind from troubling thoughts and grant me the peace that surpasses all my understanding. 
Let Your holy angels stand guard, keeping the night’s darkness at bay and ensuring the safety of my loved ones and me. 
Let Your Holy Spirit reminds me with Your words of comfort, rest and reassurance to my soul.
Protect my dreams and do not allow any of the devil’s nightmares come to me, allowing only what is pure and true to dwell in my subconscious. 
I lay down all my concerns at Your feet, confident in Your sovereign power to protect and sustain me. 
I trust that You will renew my strength in the morning, preparing me for the blessings as well as the challenges that await me in my new day. 
In Jesus’ name, I pray. 
Amen.
