Today's Prayer.

A Morning Prayer Asking God For His Shielding Presence

Dear Jesus,
As I begin this new day, I want to thank You for giving me a new day to live in Your presence and to enjoy Your blessings. 
I humbly, this morning,  place myself under Your loving care. 
Surround me with Your shielding presence and let Your powerful Spirit be my armor. 
Guide my steps and lead me along paths of Your righteousness. 
Keep me safe from the unforeseen dangers of the day and guard my mind against evil thoughts and negative attitudes. 
As I interact with others, let me be a beacon of Your love and peace, reflecting Your goodness in all that I do. 
I entrust my family into Your hands, knowing that they are engraved in Your palm. 
Your are the good shepherd who takes a good care of his sheep. 
Please, Lord, watch over me and my family, protecting us from harm and leading us away from the snares of our enemy, the devil. 
In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
