Faith Transforms Our Lives (Proverb3:5-6)
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”
(Proverb3:5-6.)
We cannot trust anyone without believing in his faithfulness to us.
So trust and faith always linked to each other.
If we believe that God is good and that He loves us we will automatically be able to trust
and submit to Him.
Our faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ, will significantly change our daily perspective
and give us a clear sense of the purpose of our lives.
When we have faith, we find meaning and fulfillment by living with purpose,
Instead of feeling that we are drifting aimlessly.
Jesus has a specific plan for each one of us.
Knowing that, can give us confidence and motivation to live well everyday.
St. Paul in his epistle to the Ephesians, said that we are God’s handiwork,
created in Christ Jesus, to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
By trusting God and submitting our plans and desires to Him, we can find clarity
and direction in our lives’ purpose.
We attain His wisdom to be able to align our daily deeds with His will.
When we face uncertainty, we can trust that each step we take is part of a greater plan
crafted by God.
By recognizing that, every moment in our lives will be an opportunity to fulfill our God’s given purpose for us.
This faith and trust in the Lord will transform our daily lives, making every single task
is significant and we approach our lives with enthusiasm and dedication.
Trusting in our lord and not leaning on our own wisdom and understanding will make every interaction, decision, and effort we do becomes a chance to glorify His name.
When we trust that God is with us in every challenging situation and that our suffering
have a purpose to let our faith grow and be stronger, this provides resilience and hope
in hard times.
The Prophet Isaiah encourages all who trust in the Lord, saying,
“But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings
like eagles, they shall run and not be weary.
They shall walk and not faint.”
(Isaiah:4031.)
Amen.
