Today's Prayer.

A Prayer To Maintain A Thankful Heart.

My Lord and Savior, Jesus,
Even though You have blessed me so much and protected me all the past days of my life,
yet I still get stuck on what’s not going right and the trials I face everyday. 
Forgive me Lord, that I forget to thank You, as You have commanded me. 
I always look on what the devil does to me, focusing on his persecution to me 
and do not remember that every time he persecutes me, 
You are there protecting me and saving me from his harmful plans and thoughts. 

Lord, I want to maintain a thankful heart towards You. 
I come to You now, to thank You for caring so much about me. 
It amazes me that You care about the big and little things that happen in my life. 
Please, Lord, grant me clarity and focus on You, to be able to see Your Almighty hands 
that protect me and give You praise with thanksgiving all the days of my life. 

I know that You love me, Lord, but the devil distracts me and deceives me 
to make me focus on his evil actions and forget that You are beside me 
protecting me and that You will never forsake me. 
I trust in You, Lord. You are my shield and refuge. 
Please remind me to keep my eyes focused on You, praying, and praising 
Your Almighty name with thanks giving. 
Amen.
