Today's Prayer.

A Prayer For Gratitude.

Gracious Lord,

As I begin this day, please cultivate in me a spirit of humility and gratitude. 
Help me to acknowledge Your blessings which You provide me every day 
and I always take it for granted and not realizing to thank You 
and appreciate Your Love. 
Through Your blessings and daily provisions I must see how much You love me, 
and I should never fear because You are saying to me that You are with me. 

Help me to remain humble in all circumstances, and to be obedient to Your voice 
and word.  
Teach me to give thanks for the small and large gifts in my life, 
recognizing Your hand in everything. 
Make me be ready to serve Your name with a humble hurt and be kind 
and compassionate towards others. 

I love You Lord and I want to be in Your image and likeness as You have created me. 
Take away every pride and haughtiness and give me a humble heart like Yours, 
full of love to all people no matter how they look like or behave. 
May my gratitude lead to a humble heart, always ready to serve and glorify Your name. 
Amen.
