Today's Prayer.

A Prayer Asking For God’s Comfort

Loving Lord,

Nowadays,  I feel like I am barely hanging on. 
I need You, Lord. I need Your comfort, Your strength, Your peace and joy. 
I know that You supply all my needs, and I thank You for always being close 
and holding me up. 
I know You will never let me fall into that pit of sin and darkness. 
I come to You today asking You to lift me up. 
I know You use your people to encourage, lift up, and pray for Your people, Your body. 

Help me draw Your strength from the prayers of Your people, our guides and teachers 
and from You in the Holy Spirit. 
Grant me confidence that You will never leave me and You will always sustain me. 
Thank you for Your lavish love that I can see physically from all the people around me, 
Your body. 
You are the anchor of my soul. 
In Your precious name, Jesus, I pray, 
amen.
