Today's Prayer.

A Prayer For Emotional Healing

Lord,

I know that You are near to the brokenhearted and saves those 
who are crushed in spirit. 
I come to You now because I feel rejected, abandoned, and betrayed. 
All these feelings bring pain in my heart and make me sometimes think 
that my wounds are so deep and difficult to heal. 
But Lord, I know that You are the great healer. 
You are the One who has come to heal and carry away our pain, 
both physically and emotionally. 
I ask, in Your precious name, that You touch me with Your healing hand 
and restore my soul and spirit for Your glory. 

Give me strength spiritually,  emotionally, and renew my life 
that I can serve You with all that I have and all that I am. 
Please Lord, touch my grieving heart, give me hope when there is none, 
and give me comfort where there is still pain. 
Please give me peace,  free me from the anxious thoughts, 
and help me to rest in You. 
I know that You are a good God and Your timing is perfect 
and Your ways are unsearchable and yet infallible. 
Help me to focus on Your goodness and love in spite of the pain 
and heartache that I feel. 
I know that hope and healing are found only in trusting You. 
I trust in Your healing power Lord, and ask You to bring restoration 
to all things. 
In Your victorious name, I pray. 
Amen.
