Today's Prayer.

A Prayer Asking God For Safety.

Holy God,

Thank You for being with me when worry and anxiety are great. 
I will say like the Psalmist “when anxiety was great with me, 
Your consolation brought me joy.” 
Help me lean into this truth. 

There is so much to worry about regarding all what is happening in the world nowadays. 
Wars, famines, and inflations make it so scary to think about the future. 
The worries can debilitate me, and I feel crushed by the weight of them. 
But You are the most High God, the Creator of heaven and earth. 
You are my Almighty God, who is able to overcome my greatest fear. 
You are my God, who is involved in every detail of my life, 
caring about the things that concern me. 

I choose to trust You. 
You are mighty to save and catch me when I fall. 
You are great and worthy of praise in the good times and the bad times. 
You are my rock and refuge. Help me to trust You with my safety. 
I know that You love me, and You have good plans for my life. 

Please, Lord,  hear my prayer and keep me and my family safe. 
Please, God, guide our steps and give us the spirit of discernment 
to be guided in the right path and be always in Your bosom and never get astray. 
Remind me always that You are a good God who will never forsake me. 
Please, God, hear my prayers and give me rest in You. 
Amen.
