To Experience The fire Of The Holy Spirit While Praying (Luke 24:30-32.)

“When he was at table with them, he took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them. 
Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, but he vanished from their sight. 
They said to each other, “Were not our hearts burning within us while he spoke to us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?” (Luke 24:30-32.)

When the disciples were on their way to Emmaus, and they were talking to each other about all these things that had occurred after Jesus was buried, Jesus appeared to them and drew near and walked along with them. 
When they saw Jesus again, they felt on fire and remembered how their hearts used to burn on fire when He was with them. 
So this feeling of the disciples, reveals to us that the presence of Jesus is always accompanied by the sense of fire, the fire of the Holy Spirit. 
It is the fire of love, joy, light and life. 
So all of us should ask ourselves now, do we feel the fire of the Holy Spirit, which is the presence of Jesus, while praying?.
Do we spend time with Jesus and find ourselves on fire? 
Does the fire of Jesus become our fire to shine bright and to burn strong in a dark and dead world that needs the Life and Light of Jesus?. 
The Holy Spirit in us needs to be ignited and nourished to fill us with its fire and presence. 
The more we spend time with Him the more our hearts will be full with His presence. 
We may sometimes not feel like praying, but once we push ourselves and we get going in it, and we start moving,  we will feel our hearts burning with the presence of Jesus. 
We may not feel like spending time in reading God’s word, but once we get a few minutes every day reading the Gospel and focusing our minds, our hearts will come alive with passion. 
We must start with small beginnings with Jesus and He will walk and talk with us. He will set our hearts on fire.
May we all strive to gain this gracious feeling of the presence of the Holy Spirit while praying. 
We need to be filled with His fire of love and light that make us the salt and the light of the world.
