Today's Prayer 

A Prayer For Healing from Hurt

My Lord and Savior,
You are my healer and comforter. 
I ask You to soothe the wound in my heart that have developed over the course of my life because of my exposure to hurtful and distorted life. 
Take the salve of Your pure and perfect love and pour it over the rough edges of my heart and heal the wounds that still lie open from brokenness, betrayal, and damage from other people. 
Forgive me for seeking satisfaction from anyone or anything other than You. 
Take Your rightful place on the throne of my heart and keep it for Yourself alone. 
Help me to guard my heart and remind me that You are the only One who satisfy. 
My heart is Yours, Lord. 
Thank You for loving me unconditionally. 
Thank You for Your love for me is beyond comparison. 
Help me Lord, to love You from all my heart and all my soul. 
In Your precious name, I pray. 
Amen.
