Today's Prayer 

A Prayer For Forgiveness Of Our Sins

Dear Jesus,
Thank You for being the rock upon which I can build my life. 
Thank You for being my fortress, my refuge, and my salvation. 
Lord, I need strength to continue to pursue the race before me. 
I come to You Lord, today, to confess that most of the time, while I am ministering and serving people, I want to take the souls I am ministering, to me and not to You. 
I want them to gather around me and not to attract them to You. 
I want their eyes to turn to me and praise what I preach or pray. 
I follow them daily, not because I want to be assured that they are walking in the right path and they accepted Your word, and received Your eternal salvation, but because I worry that I lose them and make sure that they will not follow another minister or another church.  
I am so ashamed of myself and I am asking Your mercy on me and Your forgiveness.  
I am sorry that this ugly and sinful spirit is inside me. 
I want to thank You, Lord,  for alerting my soul, in the Holy Spirit, before it is too late, and bringing me back into Your bosom.  
I sprinkle Your Holy blood on me for the forgiveness of my sins. 
Please, come Lord, to cleanse me and sanctify my intensions and my actions. 
I ask for boldness, and strength every day. 
While I know there will be hard times, I also know that with You, all things are possible. 
I wish to live a life that is full, and is a testimony to Your goodness. 
Empower me to do so, and help me to find both joy and happiness while doing so, even through hardship. 
In the name of Jesus, I pray. 
Amen.
