Today's Prayer 

A Prayer Asking For Jesus’ Peace

Lord Jesus,
I thank You for Your promise of peace in this evil and fearful world. 
I apologize that I accept the devil’s lies and believe his fearful thoughts. 
I confess that I always feel overwhelmed and this leads me to be anxious 
and full of anger and frustration. 

Lord, help me to lean closer to You when thoughts of fear and frustration overwhelm me. 
I pray that my thoughts will line up with Your many promises for me. 
Lord, help me to remember that I am loved and You are with me and never forsake me. 
I trust You, Lord, that You will heal me from anxiety. 
Please, Lord, help me to not doubt Your goodness when tough times come. 

Finally, teach me how to be resilient when trials come. 
Help me fight the enemy in faith and with Your word. 
Show me how to rely on You and keep my mind focused on You. 
I pray for Your peace to overcome every fearful thought. 
I give You glory and honor now and forever. 
Amen.
