Today's Prayer 

A Prayer To Conquer Fear

Dear Jesus,
Please help me not to fear anything because You are with me. 
I know that being afraid means that my faith in You is not strong and that I doubt Your almighty power. 
Please, Lord, help me not accept the devil’s doubtful thoughts. 
Show me how to see Your goodness in my life and not focus on things that produce fear. 
I refuse to accept and believe all the fearful thoughts that steal the peace and joy I find in You. 
When I am filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit, I feel Your joy and peace that surpasses all understanding. 
I feel that I am up in heaven and I do not care about anything or fear anything or anyone. 
Please, Lord, do not leave me under the devil’s attack of fearful thoughts. 
I trust in You and You alone. 
You are the Almighty God, the creator of heaven and earth. 
Please, Jesus, give me strength and courage to face the fears in my life that try to hold me captive. 
You have assured me that You will remain with me in times of trouble and You will comfort me when fear grips my heart. 
I choose to trust in You instead of fear. 
You uphold me and sustain me. 
Please, let me have Your peace and wisdom, now. 
I rebuke all the fearful thoughts of the devil, now, in Jesus’ name. 
I promise You, Jesus, that when I am tempted to fear I will look up to You and receive Your overcoming power over all the evil and fearful thoughts.  
I trust that You will set me free from the spirit of fear. 
In Your Almighty name I pray. 
Amen.
