Today's Prayer 

A Prayer To Overcome The Devil’s Attacks

Dear Jesus, my Lord and Savior,
I pray, today, asking You to empower me, by Your grace, to seek first Your kingdom in everything I do. 
Help me to put on the breastplate of righteousness and to ignore the accuser’s words and turn away from all that he is doing in my life and look to You. 
You are faithful and full of mercy. 
Please have mercy on me. I proclaim in the face of the devil now that You are my defender, my provider, my protecter, and my healer. 
I trust in You, Lord, and You alone. 
I believe that the enemy flees as I trust You. 
I rebuke him now, in Your Almighty name.  
Lord, I believe that he will flee now, and be made to go down into hades, as I rebuke him in Your name. 
I will obey Your word, Lord, and I will take the shield of faith now with which i will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 
Lord, I promise to obey Your word and I will take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is Your word, to defeat the devil now. 
In Your precious name, I pray. 
Amen.
