Today's Praye

A Prayer Asking For Peace

Dear Lord,

You alone who know the deep sorrow within my heart. 
My heart is filled with chaos and confusion. 
I feel as if I am drowning in my bad circumstances and I am filled with fear and sadness. 
The devil throws fearful thoughts into my mind continuously 
and I feel his power of death is holding my soul. 

I pray that the lies and the schemes of the enemy will not prevail.  
I pray that despite the difficulty surrounding me that I can stand firm in my faith. 
Please, Lord,  help me to overcome all the evil spirits that attack me day and night. 
Lord, have mercy on me.  
i  am very thankful to You that I can come to you and lay down all my fears 
and burden under your feet and in your almighty name I receive all the power 
and strength to rebuke all those evil spirits. 

Lord, I really need the strength and peace that only You can give. 
You alone are the One who can heal my broken heart. 
You are my comforter in sorrow. 
In this darkest of times in my life, Lord, I turn towards You, 
asking to mend my brokenness and extend Your healing power 
into every area of my heart that is ripped and torn apart. 
I am powerless, Lord, to remove this heartbreak from my heart, 
but You, my creator, who knit me together in my mother’s womb, 
can make my heart anew again. 

Thank You for Your nearness to me during this time of overwhelming heartbreak. 
In Your precious name I release my deepest sorrows and receive Your abundant life, joy, and peace.  I believe that today, Jesus, I receive Your freedom from this brokenness to heal my heart. 
I look to You to turn my sorrow into joy and to replace my tears shed with joyful songs. 
In Your name I pray. 
Amen.
