Today's Prayer.

A Prayer For Revival From Spiritual Slump

Dear Lord,

Deliver me from my spiritual slump. 
You are faithful and I trust that You will lead me out of dry patches when I seek You. 
So, I am crying out to You, Lord, today. 
I am asking the Holy Spirit now to stoke the fire in my heart. 
When i feel tired and complacent, please, Jesus strengthen and sustain me. 
You will comfort, convict, and compel me to live as a child of Yours. 
My feelings don’t seem to match my faith today. 

I love You, and it saddens me when I experience complacency 
and a lack of zeal in my worship and devotion. 
Remind me when I feel this sluggishness that You are still near. 
Thank You for always hearing my prayers. 
Thank You for constantly receiving my worship and service, even when it feels small. 

Today, Jesus, I ask You to increase my zeal, fervency, and desire to serve You. 
I will trust You alone with the work of the Holy Spirit in my heart. 
Remind me often not to quit spending time with You or living out my daily faith. 
Lord, of hope, fill me and keep growing and renewing me as I seek You daily. 
In Jesus’ Name, 
Amen.
