Today's Devotional.

To Bring Every Thought Captive To Christ (2Corinthians 10:4-6)

“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God 
for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments 
and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 
and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.” 
(2Corinthians 10:4-6.)

The devil is like a lion that is roaring furiously all day wants to devour us. 
He is our enemy. 
We all need to be alert and demolish all his demonic strategies against us. 
He always wage an immense battle against our minds. 
That is why we always feel distracted from God and sometimes confused 
and do not think properly. 

The first thing to do to win the battle with our enemy is to identify the war
and know which spirit is attacking us. 
This happens when we detect what we are thinking about. 
If the thoughts disagree with the word of God and full of envy, hatred, or worldly lusts, 
so we take the step to take every thought captive to Christ in the Holy Spirit. 
We do not hang around these thoughts again and demolish it. 
We annihilate them by the power of the Holy Spirit and put on the armor of God. 
Only when we bring our problems and circumstances under His feet, 
then we feel the burden is light and been taken away.

May we all cast down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself 
against the knowledge of God, 
and bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. 
Amen.
