Jesus Is The Bread Of Life

“Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me has everlasting life.
I am the bread of life. Your fathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and are dead.
This is the bread which comes down from heaven, that one may eat of it and not die.
I am the living bread which came down from heaven.
If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”(John 6:47-51).

Knowing God does not mean knowing about God, but it means that those who seek Him, God will reveal Jesus to them and they will repent of their sin and receive the free gift of eternal life. They will come into a unity with the Son of God and He will open their eyes and will lead their way to be His Kingdom.
In the Gospel of John we read that “God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life”( John 3:16).
The Son of God, Jesus Christ, came to take away our sinful nature to restore our image, to be in His likeness.
He died on the cross and shed His blood, to confront all the satanic works and He conquered death and sin by His resurrection.
He gave us His eternal life, the life of victory over death.
To be saved from death we must unite with the life that overcomes death.
The life that overcomes death is the life of Jesus, who overcame death by His cross, and proclaimed it by His resurrection.
To obtain this precious eternal life is simply to believe and confess that Jesus is Lord, to receive Him, let Him dwells in you, abide in Him and obey His commands.
At that time you will be born from above and you have become a new creature in Christ.
He is declaring to us today that He is the living bread which came down from heaven.
If anyone eats of His bread, he will live forever, that is to say, if we accept Him we will have His eternal life in us.
St. Paul said in his second epistle to the Corinthians, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new”(2 Cor 5:17 ).

May we all choose by our own free will to put off all the old ways of our lives, reject all the worldly tempting thoughts that may sadden and quench the presence of the Holy Spirit in us, and receive the eternal life, the life of Jesus, the Son of God.
Amen.
