Today's Prayer.

A Prayer Asking Jesus For Forgiveness Of Our Sins

Dear Jesus,
I believe and confess that You are a good God and that Your plan for my life is far better than my own plans. 
Lord, I need a fresh outpouring of Your Holy Spirit in my life, to revive my love and obedience to You and to help the Holy Spirit to enter deeply in me to transform me to be in Your likeness. 
I confess that still there are areas in my life that I need to give to You to cleanse me and purify me. 
Forgive me for allowing the world and its distractions to distance me from You. 
You said that if I confess my sins and repent, You are faithful and just to forgive all of them and purify me from all unrighteousness. 
Thank you Lord, for Your forgiveness and Your grace. 
Help me to control my thoughts which lead me to sin. 
I ask for Your forgiveness for every act of disobedience, every selfish motive, and every time I did not obey Your command. 
Please help me day by day to turn away  from sin and to pursue holiness with all my heart. 
Give me the strength to resist temptation and flee from the devil’s thoughts.  
In Your precious name I pray. 
Amen.
