Today's Devotional.

All Things Were Made Through Jesus (John 1:1-4.)

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 
In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 
And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”(John 1:1-4.)
Jesus is our creator. 
The breath that we breathe is a gift from Him.
All things were made through Him and without Him nothing was made. 
So our lives is in Him. 
If we sin we separate ourselves from our source of life and we lead our lives into darkness because He is the light. 
He came to our world to reconcile us back to Him. 
He wants us to live in His light and life.
The world as a whole is so very dark because its prince is the devil. 
He is full of darkness. 
But our Lord is here in our midst. 
In the middle of dark, messy, incredibly painful things, 
He is there.
He illuminates the darkness when nothing and no one else can. 
When we go astray and find ourselves in darkness, the only thing we can do is go quickly go to Jesus as the prodigal son did and say “I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, “Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you, and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. 
Make me like one of your hired servants.” (Luke 15:18-19.) 
If we are in that place today, So we must arise up quickly and remind ourselves with all what He has done for us and find hope in all that He is able to do.  
know that Jesus will never change, and He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. 
Know that when we are weak, He is strong. 
When we are weary, He gives us rest. 
When we are afraid, we can trust in Him. 
He has been faithful in the past and He will be in the future. 
His power is made perfect in our weaknesses. 
He wants all of us to come to Him and He created us with a purpose that every situation in our lives is a part of it. 
He fights for us if we will only be still. 
know that He is the Rock that we can build our lives on. 
know that if we grow our roots down into Him, our faith will not be shaken when hard things come. 
know without a doubt, that these things are true and can be trusted.
Call out to Jesus, our personal Savior, to bring us out of the darkness and bring us into the light with Him.
I know and believe that He will meet us there. 
Amen.
