Today's Prayer.

A Prayer To Hear The Lord’s Voice.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit to indwell in me. 
I am grateful beyond words for all of Your boundless, beautiful, 
and precious gifts and blessings. 
I am coming to You now in prayer to confess that sometimes my head 
becomes overstuffed with the world’s spinning ideas and attractions. 
I lose focus on You and I give my heart to these deceiving and attractive notions.
My heart becomes flooded with a swarm of disorder and confusion 
that make it difficult to hear Your voice over the world’s constant noise. 

Forgive me for allowing the world to distract me from You and Your guiding light.  
I desperately want to hear Your voice above all voices. 
I want Your will for my life. 

Lord, please clear my head of the clutter and open my heart to hear You better. 
Help me replace my thoughts with Your thoughts. 
Help me see You clearly. 
You gave me Your peace, wisdom, and Your eternal life.
 Help me to turn to You and soak in Your gracious gifts. 

Thank You for Your voice and Your word that are available to lead me and guide me. 
In Your precious name I pray.
Amen.
