Today's Prayer.

A Prayer Asking For God’s Presence.

Dear Lord,

Thank You for giving me a new day to live. 
Please Lord, may nothing separate me from You today. 
Teach me how to choose Your way only 
and each step will lead me closer to You. 
Help me walk by Your word and not by the world’s ways.
 Help me to keep my heart pure and undivided. 
Protect me from myself and my careless thoughts and deeds. 

Please Lord,  keep me from being distracted by my needs, 
desires and my thoughts on how things should be. 
Help me rest in You. 
I know how great is Your love towards me. 

I know that Your love for me is not based on my performance.
I love you Lord and I want to please Your heart. 
Help me to focus on You and Your love to me. 
In your precious name, I pray. 
Amen.
