Today's Prayer.

A Prayer For Personal Transformation.

Dear Jesus,
Life can feel so very dark at times, not just for the world around me 
but for me personally. 
Help me to turn my eyes to You, to remember the truth of Who You are, 
and to put my hope in You and Your Word. 
Thank You for lighting up my darkness and meeting me where I am. 
Create in me a clean heart, O Lord, and renew a right spirit within me. 
Purify me from all unrighteousness, and cleanse me from sin. 

I want to grow in holiness, guided by Your spirit and living according to Your will.
Let the light of Your truth shine into the darkest parts of my heart, 
exposing any hidden sin and transforming me to become like You. 
Give me hunger and thirst for Your righteousness. 
Jesus, I want to be in Your image and likeness. 
I want to be a true child of God. 

Make me new and give me the new nature. 
Give me strength and patience in the Holy Spirit to fight the good fight
and be transformed and changed to be in Your image. 
In Your Almighty name, I pray.
Amen.
