Today's Prayer 

A Prayer Asking For Jesus’ Wisdom

Dear Jesus,

May my desires be turned fully to You, oh Lord, and may Your name be glorified in my life. 
Your name is worthy to be exalted, and You have generously gave me a lot of blessings and gifts. Please Lord, grant me the wisdom to know how to honor Your gifts. 
I want to get rid of pride that makes me focus on the gift not on You the giver of the gift. 

Clear me of my transgressions against You and grant me permission 
to approach Your glorious throne with confidence in the 
righteousness of Your ways. 

Help me Lord to be wise in all I say and do. 
Help me to put aside my selfishness and treat others with Your love and care. 
You said that the one who comes to You, You will certainly not cast out. 

Do not let my foot slip but sustain me according to Your knowledge of my desire to follow You. 
I place my hope in Your righteousness and faithful word and I trust in Your great works. 
I lay myself before You, upon Your great mercy, I entrust myself to the wisdom 
of Your commands. In Your precious name, I pray. 
Amen.
