Today's Prayer 

A Prayer To Declare Our Submission To Our Lord

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for sending Your only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to our world to save us from the devil’s temptations of sin and the fear of his death. 
The devil envied us, Your creation, and he is trying all the time to snatch us from Your bosom.  
He knows how much You love us,  to the point of death on the cross. 
You went to the cross to confront his evilness and You disarmed his principalities and evil powers. You made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them. 

In You, Lord, we are putting off the body of sin of the flesh, buried with You in baptism, and also raised with You through faith. 
You wiped out all of our sins as You nailed them all on the cross. 
You cleansed us with your precious blood. 
Now we renew our covenant with You. 

We  surrender all to You Lord. 
Help us to submit our minds and hearts to You. 
We want to obey all Your commands and advices to be away from this tyranny, the devil. 
We promise You in these blessed days to follow You. 
We rebuke in Your almighty name, all the temptations and sinful desires. 
We trust in You, Lord, and only You. 
Help us to fulfill Your salvation plan for us. 
We pray in Your precious name. 
Amen.
