Today's Prayer 

A Prayer Asking God to Mold us To Be Like Jesus

Gracious Father,
I put my trust in You. 
I am assured of Your good gifts, the gifts You have promised to give to those who turn to You in righteousness, and who make straight their path before You. 
You mold me like a clay through the difficulties I face in this life and  train me to be patient and wait with hope and faith for the fulfillment of Your promises in my life. 
You use these times to mold me to be in the likeness of Your begotten Son, Jesus Christ. 
When I unite with Him I will have His eternal life. 
Lord, fill me with this patience, build in me this character, and help me to wait on You for Your perfect timing. 
I find joy in the way that you build discipline in my life. 
I love You, Lord, and I promise that I will live in obedience to Your commands and put on the armor of God and fight the good fight. 
Help me in the Holy Spirit to surrender my will to do all what I promised You. 
Amen.
