Today's Prayer.

Prayer Asking To Be A True Child Of God.

Dear Lord,
I need You to transform me into Your likeness. 
Teach me Your ways that lead to life and rest from a weary earth.
Show me Lord, the way to humility and patience and the path to eternal life. 
When I come to You, You always comfort me with Your righteous teaching and encouraging words in the Gospel. 

I am waiting for the fulfillment of Your blessed promises in my life. 
Please Lord, keep me in Your confidence and strength, and do not put me to shame. 
I want to be a true child of God full of Your power, humility, kindness and patience. 
I want to treat people as You treat me with kindness and patience to show them how You have changed me into Your likeness. 

I know You can do it in the Holy Spirit if I surrender all of me to You. 
Help me Lord, to submit and surrender all to You. 
I am so thankful to You for Your kindness and favor to me despite my tendency to rebel against You whenever I get into trouble. You are a good and faithful Lord and Savior. 
I honor and glorify Your name now and forever. 
Amen.
