Today's Devotional

We Are Commanded To Preach The Good News.

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 
Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” 
Amen.” 
(Mathew 28:18-20.)

Jesus commanded us to go and make disciples of all the nations. 
But before he has given us the command He assured us that If anyone serves Him and follows Him, Father God will honor and reward him. 
He who will obey Jesus’ commands will be in the same place with Him and will sit with Him on His Throne. 

What a marvelous promise and reward we will be having by following Jesus. 
So everyone of us can start now the work of a missionary among our friends and relatives who are close to us, especially those our age. 
But in order to do this successfully we must be full with Jesus’ love, kindness, patience, power and authority. 
How? By abiding in Him. 
How? First, we must read the Gospel daily and sequentially to know God’s will and what He wants us to do and say. 
He is the one who will send us and give us His words, for the word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 
Second, we make sure every day to match our lives to the commandments of the Gospel by prayer and repentance so that our lives changes to the image and likeness of Christ. 
Thirdly, we should have a profound daily opportunity to pray, examine ourselves, and repent. 
Fourthly, when our lives change according to the Gospel, we can share with others what the Lord has done in our lives so that they, too, may participate in Christ's life through the Gospel's word. Fifthly, we pray an intercessional prayer for our friends who responded to our ministry.  
May we all obey Jesus’ command and go to preach His love and His salvation plan to the whole world. 
Amen.
