Today's Prayer 

A Prayer For Having Love For Our Families.

Dear Lord,
We want to thank You today for having our precious families. 
Thank You for all You have done in our lives. 
Give us to love each other in the Holy Spirit and not to take each other by the spirit of possession. We don’t own our families but they are a gift from You.
Please Lord, fill each one of us with Your holy love so that we may love each other as You loved us. Your love is a tender and giving love, not a love of taking and possessing. 
You said if you didn’t love your brother whom you see, how can you love Me, I am the One you didn’t see.  
You also said, by this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another. 
So, Lord, we want to obey Your commandment but we can’t love each other without Your Holy Spirit be in us. 
You are the source of Love, so please fill us with Your Spirit in order to fulfill your commandment. St. Paul said, “Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.” 
You said those who love Me obey My commands. 
We love You Lord, and we want to love our families, friends, and even our enemies. 
Please, Lord, we come to You now asking to fill us with Your love to love one others,  in Your Almighty name we pray. 
Amen.
