Today's Prayer 

A Prayer for Patience While Waiting

My Lord & Savior, I am in pain and sorrow. 
I weep and cry all night asking you to relief me from my pain. 
I know that all the pain and anxiety that I feel are trials from the devil. 
Please come and save me from his sadness. 
I have a lot of bondages that he bonded me with since I was little. 
I always feel self-pity which I know that it is the other side of pride. 
I rebuke now in Your Name every spirit of pride and sadness. 
I rebuke in Your Almighty Name all his bondages on my spirit and my emotion in Your Almighty Name. Release me from his hands. 
Get me out of his dark pit that is full of anxiety, fear and depression. 
I am waiting for You Lord and  I trust You and Your perfect timing. 
I am utterly dependent on You, Lord. 
Please increase my wisdom and dependence on You as You mold me more and more into Your image. 
You are the Author and Perfecter of my faith. 
I know You won’t stop until You complete Your good work in me. 
I long for that day—that I may rejoice and proclaim Your goodness as I tell others I am so glad I waited on the Lord. 
In Jesus’ name I pray. 
Amen.
