Today's Prayer

Prayer to Glorify Father God

My Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being faithful and trustworthy.

You sent Your Incarnated begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to save me from sin and death.

In Jesus Christ, I can overcome all the evil spirits that attack me day and night.

Your Word in the Gospel reminds me that I can depend on You in my warfare and trust  that I am more than a conqueror.

You make ways forward when it feels there is no way out.

Jesus my Lord, You asked me to not be afraid because You are with me and You will never forsake me.

I come to You now to lay every burden under Your feet.

Holy Spirit, please help me lay down all my cares and concerns at Your feet.

Please help me in areas where my trust falls short and when my worry gets the best of me.

Thank you, Father God, for sending Jesus to be my Savior.

Lord, I want to submit everything to You, but sometimes it can be hard for me to know what You  want me to do or where You are directing me.

I am asking You today to show me how my life and gifts can glorify Your name.

I want to serve Your name, Lord.

You said that You will cleanse me and forgive all my sins if I confess them and repent.

I repent now, Lord, and I rebuke in Your almighty name all the evil spirits that attack me and hinder me to serve You faithfully.

Jesus, You are a loving and merciful Lord.

I confess that I stumble and sometimes turn back toward my old patterns, but I promise You that I will surrender everything in me to the Holy Spirit to cleanse my heart and sanctify me.

I will abide in You Lord and will obey all Your commands faithfully to glorify Your name.

I will be ready to use me and to serve You with a pure heart.

In Your almighty name I pray.

Amen.
