Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking for Jesus’ Strength for Our Families

Jesus,

I declare that You are my Lord and Savior.

I surrender my family under Your control.

Take every weight from our hearts.

When we have been anxious, give us peace.

When we have been hurting, bring us healing.

When we feel discouraged, breathe hope into us again.

Remind us to submit everything into Your hand and let not our minds think how we will figure it out today.

I only need to trust You Lord, cause You are the One who holds our lives.

Go before us today and everyday.

Guide our steps.

Protect me and my family from any danger.

Have mercy on us, please, Lord.

I place my life and my family in Your hands.

Go before us everywhere we go and watch over everything concerning us.

Let Your presence cover our home.

Give us wisdom to recognize danger and remind us not to fear, but put on the breastplate and our armor which is Your precious name, to be protected.

When we have tensions, give us patience, where words have wounded bring healing.

Help us to speak with love and kindness and forgive with willing hearts.

Please, Lord, renew our strength and sustain us when we feel lonely and surround us with Your love.

Lord, bless the work of our hands and grant us restful times.

Restore our joy and help us make time to sit before You to be filled with Your Holy Spirit to be comforted.

In your almighty name, I pray.

Amen.
