Today's Prayer

Prayer For Our Families’ Healing

Dear Jesus,

I commit to You today all members of my family at church who have fallen sick.

You are the Only Healer to all physical, spiritual, mental, and emotional illnesses.

You are the Great Physician who can cure any evil sickness.

You came to our world to heal us from all the consequences of sin.

May You now, at this moment, hear my prayer and comfort every member in my family, who are members of Your body, who are physically in pain right now.

Touch them with Your healing power, Lord.

Send forth Your Word and heal their diseases.

Let Your healing power flow through every cell of their bodies.

Lord, I also ask that You heal the members of my family who are hurting emotionally.

Their affliction is not physical, but I know that they are also in pain.

Give them comfort as well, Lord.

Give them the peace that transcends understanding.

Heal their hearts, Lord, which may be full of anger, hatred, strife, bitterness, and unforgiveness.

Clear their minds of any doubt, anxiety, or depression.

Renew in them a peaceful spirit, Lord.

Guide their way, to which doctor they consult, or which minister can help them and pray with them.

I put them all in the palm of Your healing hands and I believe with pure faith that You will heal them.

In Your precious and almighty name, I pray.

Amen.
