Today's Prayer

Prayer To Share Jesus’ Joy With Others

Dear Jesus,

First, I want to thank You for loving me unconditionally. You are so good to me and very patient with me. You treat me according to Your mercy. Thank You for saving me and giving me Your eternal life.

Jesus, I long for Your joy that strengthens me in every situation. You know the burdens I have been carrying lately. You know that these burdens make my heart feel overwhelmed with sadness or stress. Today, I want to lay all those worries at Your feet and trust You to help me with each of them.

Please, Jesus, fill my heart right now with the joy that only You can give. Help me to remember that my joy doesn’t depend on my circumstances, but on Your goodness, which never changes. Teach me how to let Your joy lead my thoughts, words, and actions today. Whenever I feel overwhelmed, please remind me that Your joy is my true strength.

Please, Lord, I want to be filled with Your Holy Spirit to be able to overcome the spirit of sadness that attacks me with Your Spirit of joy. Give me a pure heart to receive all the fruits of Your Spirit.

Let me be filled with holy gladness to share Your joy with all people around me who are suffering. Show me simple ways to share Your joy with them. Please, Jesus, hear my supplications.

In Your precious name, I pray.

Amen.
