Today's Prayer

Prayer Asking Jesus To Heal the Bondage Of Fear

Jesus my Lord,

I love You.

You said that the sign that I really love You is that I obey Your commands.

Jesus I confess that I am struggling to obey Your word in the Gospel faithfully.

I obey some and leave others.

I choose what to obey or can obey.

It seems that  I have bondages to certain sins like fear.

Fear makes me confused and not focus on Your truth and Your promises.

It makes me frustrated all the time cause I feel I am chained and cannot move freely or think right.

Lord, please help me get my focus back on You.

Please, help me not to give into fear that can come from focusing on the circumstances swirling around me but to remember the promise that You are with me.

While I know that You are always with me, please give me a tangible reminder of Your presence today and that You will comfort me from this slavery to fear.

I know I need to stop dwelling on my fears and frustrations.

Help me be faithful in obeying Your commands and put my hope in You.

May the Holy Spirit guide me, comfort me.

and strengthen me.

Please forgive me and help me to grow spiritually and put on the armor of God.

Help me to resist every fearful thought and trust in Your love and protection.

You are my Shepherd, whom would I fear?

I want to remember how much You love me and in You I am safe.

Thank you for your love and mercy.

Thank you for forgiving me and choosing to forget my sin.

Thank You for giving me Your Holy Spirit, the comforter, to dwell in me.

I praise Your name now and forever.

Amen.
