Today's Prayer

A Prayer for a Miracle of Healing

Lord Jesus,

Here I am again, asking You to do what only You can do in my life.

You are the same yesterday, today, and forever.

You are the God who performs miracles!

So do a miracle in me! Heal me through and deliver me from my tendency toward anxiety and worry.

Jesus, I come before You today with a heart burdened by illness and seeking Your healing touch.

I will do what I read in saint James epistle and I will call upon the elders of the church and pray in faith.

I trust the promise that when we pray, You will bring healing to my body, mind, and spirit.

Lord, I ask for Your anointing and Your presence to surround me as we pray.

Please use this prayer to make me well, for Your glory.

Show me how You fight for me.

Give me a vision of what a healthy, healed me looks like.

Take my efforts and multiply them, Lord.

My soul waits for You to do what Your almighty hands can do.

Lord, I know that my sins would prevent Your healing power to permeate in me and heal me from within.

I confess now my sin of pride and disbelief.

Forgive me Lord.

I repent and promise You that I will seek Your Holy Spirit for sanctification.

I will surrender everything for You to come and cleanse me and make me new.

I know no healing if sin dwells in me.

Forgive me Lord.

I reach up to You to receive this healing so that I may be whole and that I may be able to then minister to others in a way that brings You fullness of glory.

How wonderful to be able to worship You without stain or blemish and to be totally healed.

Show others Your healing power so that they may also be healed and walk in wholeness.

In Your precious and almighty name, I pray.

Amen.
