Today's Prayer

Praying To Have Jesus’ Humbleness

Dear Jesus,

In You, and Your Holy Spirit’s work in me alone, I take pride! 

I Praise You for giving me an example to follow and a way through Your Holy Spirit to submit my prideful ways to You. 

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, I pray Your truth over my life today. 

Hold me accountable, make me remember how humble You are bearing all my sins. 

You are patient and knocking on my heart, waiting for me to open it for You. 

You made it so easy for me and all I have to do is to open my heart to You and lean on You and You will cleanse me from all my prideful thoughts. 

Please Lord, I come to You now confessing my sin of pride asking You to Protect me from this destructive ramifications of pride. 

Teach me Lord, how to boast only in what You are doing in my life. 

I testify that Your Holy Spirit is working in me and I have changed a lot, but I am still battling with prideful thoughts that come from time to time. Please help me Lord, to be diligent in rejecting them every time they tempt me to boast. 

I want to be like You Jesus, humble and gentle. 

You left Your throne in heaven and came down to my world to redeem me and save me from my enemy, the devil. 

I want to overcome this ugly spirit and be full of Your humbleness. 

I praise Your name and give You all the honor and glory, now and forever.

Amen.
