Today's Prayer

Prayer For The Unity Of The Church Worldwide

Dear Jesus,

I pray for Your body, the Church, not only my church, but also for the church worldwide. 

I pray for all who believe in Your name. 

We all are so incredibly in need of Your power and strength in a world that is dark and in times that we know the end is drawing nearer. 

May we all be found faithfully praying for one another with one mind and one Spirit. 

Lord, many of Your children are persecuted, even killed, daily all around the world. 

They are ridiculed and attacked openly in the social media because of their faith in You. 

Please, Lord, I ask Your help for everyone of us and that we begin to set aside our differences and look to the our greater call, and that is the revelation of the children of God. 

Help us to truly live out a life of love.

This cannot happen without the power of Your Holy Spirit in us. 

I ask You to walk across our lands everywhere in a miraculous ways, with fresh filling of Your Holy Spirit to all of Your children. 

Make us aware of all the sneaky and wicked traps of the devil who wants us to fight with each other under the name of defending our faith. 

The trap of having many sects and denominations fighting with each other and each wants to worship You differently and teach different theology.

Jesus, You said to the Samaritan women that God is a Spirit and we must worship You by the Spirit and that is all we should care for. 

Let us all hold to Your word in the Gospel because Your word is the truth. 

Help us all abide in Your Holy Spirit and love one another as You loved us. 

Turn us all back to Your Love, life, and truth. 

Lord, we need You to unit us in the Holy Spirit and stir our hearts with Your holy and sacrificial love. 

We need Your wisdom and love in these dark days to be able to draw others to come to know You. 

We need Your Spirit to lead us, guide us, and help us to live out godly lives that would bring honor to Your holy name. 

Please, Lord, hear my supplications and come quickly to save Your church worldwide. 

I praise Your name with thanksgiving. 

Amen.
