Today's Prayer

A Prayer Asking Jesus For Strength Over Pain

Dear Jesus my Lord and Savior,

I live in this fallen and ugly world which is full of pain and suffering.

You told me in the Gospel that we will suffer in this world but You will never forsake us and in You we have victory over all the pain and suffering, and have Your peace.

Please, Lord, help me to submit myself to You and lay down every painful feeling at the foot of Your cross.

Lord, I want to unit with You in the Holy Spirit to be able to overcome every painful trial that the devil, my enemy, tries to throw on me. 

In You only I can overcome this evil spirit and have victory over it.

You came to my world and having a body like mine in order to transfer to me all what You have.

I want Your strength in me Oh, Lord.

Every time I feel the pain or suffer, Please remind me to go to You first asking for Your power and not spend time crying hopelessly.

I have hope in You Lord cause You are my Lord and savior.

In You I have life, peace, and joy.

Thank You that You are my Lord and I have the hope that when I unite with You all this pain and suffering I will not feel because in You there is no pain and no hurt, but comfort and peace.

Please, Lord, fill me with this truth that I would not fall again under these terrible feelings of fear pain, and hopelessness.

I am confident that when I obey Your command faithfully, and truly, I will be in You and You in me.

This is my hope to be a true child of God who experience all the promises that You gave us.

I trust in Your words Lord because You are the only way, truth and life.

I give You all the praise, the honor, and glory now and forever.

Amen.
